On Wednesday, April 23rd you can dine
out to help fight the impact of HIV/AIDS in our community.
It’s simple!
1. Book a table at one of our 44 participating
restaurants
for April 23rd .
2. Go out for dinner with your friends and family
and have a great evening!
3. The restaurant will donate 25% of the cost of
your meal
to the Snowy Owl AIDS Foundation and Bruce House.

A Taste For Life is a unique fundraising event
that has been helping men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS for 10 years
in Ottawa. This
year 20 communities in Ontario
will be taking part in A Taste for Life! Visit the website to choose a location
near you and help your local AIDS Service Organizations.
Why support A Taste For Life?
Because there is still no cure for AIDS.
Funds raised from A Taste for Life are divided
between The Snowy Owl AIDS Foundation and Bruce House. All money raised is
directed to care for those living with AIDS and prevention programs.
Bruce House provides supportive housing and
compassionate care to people living with AIDS. This is accomplished
through our 7 bed Westboro house with 24-hour care, and through our 40 rent
geared to income apartments. Our growth enables Bruce House to not only provide
a safe place for our clients, but to improve their living skills and grow
towards independent living.
The Snowy Owl AIDS Foundation was started by the
Turpin Family of Ottawa
after the death of their son and brother Louis. The Foundation
supports initiatives that provide care to people with HIV and AIDS as well as
AIDS Prevention programs.
Can't make it
for dinner?
Some restaurants are open late. Maybe you could go
for a late night drink or dessert? We have a few catering companies as well.
If you can't make it out on the 23rd but
still want to help people living with HIV/AIDS in our community, Bruce House
and the Snowy Owl AIDS Foundation need your support all year.
