The Awards for Action on HIV/AIDS and Human Rights were established in 2002 by the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network and Human Rights Watch.
28/03/2011 - Recognizing excellence and long-term commitment to work having a direct impact on HIV/AIDS and human rights issues - in particular
work that is of direct relevance to marginalized individuals and communities - an award is presented annually to one Canadian and one international recipient. The winners will be
announced at the opening of the Legal Network's Annual General Meeting and Symposium on HIV, Law and Human Rights in Toronto on June 9, 2011.
Submissions must be received before Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

PRIX DE L'ACTION CONTRE LE VIH/SIDA ET POUR LES DROITS HUMAINS
Les Prix de l'Action contre le VIH/sida et pour les droits humains ont étés initiés en 2002 par le Réseau juridique canadien VIH/sida et Human Rights Watch.
En reconnaissance de l'excellence et de l'engagement à long terme à un travail qui a un impact direct sur la problématique du VIH/sida et des droits humains - en particulier à un travail qui
présente une pertinence directe pour les communautés et individus marginalisés - un prix canadien et un prix international seront décernés annuellement à un récipiendaire canadien et un
récipiendaire international. Les récipiendaires seront annoncés à l'ouverture du Symposium sur le VIH, le droit et les droits de la personne, et de l'assemblée générale annuelle du Réseau juridique à Toronto, le 9 juin 2011.
Les mises en candidature devront être reçues au plus tard le jeudi 28 avril 2011 à 17 h 00 (H.E.).
