Mr Friendly, a symbol to fight stigma of HIV

January 14, 2012 - Mr Friendly is an international, grassroots movement to reduce stigma of HIV, encourage testing for HIV, and improve quality of life for those living with HIV. Mr Friendly encourages everyone to have open, honest and educated conversation about HIV with uplifting messages and zero scare tactics.

We will mail TEN FREE Mr Friendly buttons until 3/1/12 anywhere in Continental United States. Send request to DWatt@CARESswm.org . With a positive and negative sign on a smiling face, Mr Friendly is an excellent visual representation for people of any HIV status to use. Wearing a Mr Friendly button, dog tag or t-shirt can help you initiate healthy conversation about HIV.

Would you like to be a part of Mr Friendly's mission? Create an atmosphere in your community that raises awareness about HIV. Form a "Team Friendly" that works in your community - details on the website. Mr Friendly is already a successful program at CARES (CARESswm.org), an HIV service non-profit agency in Southwest Michigan.

Visit our website for information how you can use Mr Friendly to create a world that is stigma-free of HIV! www.mrfriendly.info
