The Female Health Company Announces Issuance of U.S. Patent for its FC2 Female Condom
CHICAGO, June 7, 2010, - The Female Health Company (NASDAQ-CM: FHCO) today
announced that on June 1, 2010, the U.S. Patent office issued patent number U.S. 7,726,316 B1 for its second generation product, the FC2 Female Condom. In addition to the newly issued U.S. patent, Spain, Greece and Turkey recently issued patents on the FC2 Female Condom.
In addition to the patents listed above, the Company also holds FC2 patents for Europe, Canada, Australia, South Africa and Japan. Patents are pending in various other countries.
